Will first started building furniture in Statesboro, Georgia where he played baseball and studied Construction Management. It wasn't until after a couple years of baseball that he found a new passion of building with his hands. Shortly after his graduation from Georgia Southern University, he decided to put work to a halt and pursue his last year of baseball eligibility at Georgia College & State University, where he played with his younger brother. Post baseball, Will first pursued a career with Brasfield & Gorrie, a General Contractor out of Atlanta, Georgia.  Will continued to hone his craft while also doing his day-to-day of assisting in managing and estimating commercial construction projects. But after a couple of years, his other passions and a pursuit for a simpler lifestyle while doing what he loves drove him across the country to San Diego, California.

In 2021, Will started out at Helvey Design studio, an architectural millwork and In 2021, Will started out at Helvey Design Studio, an architectural millwork and metal fabrication shop. After a year, he found Kiwi Woodshop, where he currently works under Brenton Ottley building high-end custom furniture. Will has a passion to continue to grow his business and community in San Diego.
